MEET THE PARTNERS
Ellen and Abby take an eclectic approach to counseling, drawing from a number of relational, behavioral and insight-oriented approaches, always sensitive to the importance of collaboration between client and therapist and empowerment of the individual.
Ellen Gamza
Ellen Gamza, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with those suffering from depression and anxiety, victimization and abuse, adolescents and their families and eating disorders.
Ellen earned her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. She is a member of the NASW and the Eating Disorders Association of New Jersey, where she runs monthly groups for both sufferers and families. She has written for the NASW regarding the treatment of depression and coaches adolescent girls with Girls on the Run. Ellen has worked in hospital, school and shelter settings, as well as in private practice.

Abby Sarrett-Cooper
Abby Sarrett-Cooper, MA, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialization in helping those with eating disorders as well as in parenting concerns, adolescence and bullying.
Abby received her MA in counseling from Caldwell College, and has studied Clinical Psychology at the doctoral level at Yeshiva University. She is a faculty member in the psychology department at Caldwell College, where she teaches Child Development and Positive Psychology courses. She is a group leader and speaker with the Eating Disorders Association of New Jersey and has consulted with the National Council of Jewish Women. Abby has also designed curriculum for middle school children on body image and other social issues.
